i don't think that people often realize the different selves that we have and how hard it is to maintain them all. luckily for me, i only have two selves. but both of them struggle to coexist. and while one of them doesn't often come out, i know it's there, like a leech or a tumor or a disease. that face is this. tinea. it's infectious. when i show it, i become dark and ugly and hateful. it bubbles under the surface all the time. i am controlled. i never let it out. it's strange, and funny, because my primary face is very happy. it's kind, it's patient, it's honorable, loyal, polite. it's responsible and receives excellent grades. it runs a small business which is very successful. but inside. thre's something there. there are those who bring it out of me. i have to let it speak. so you will hear it. only here. |
