i'll probably elaborate later, or tomorrow, but we took the trip saturday, got there exactly on time despite insane traffic jams around DC, boy's entire piece got done, and as dude was putting the wrap on it ... ... the electricity went out. super disappointing, since my piece had been drawn up and was in hand and looked so amazing. i wish he hadn't even showed it to me, really. he's a real standup guy though, and he sent us home without charging us for the trouble of it all, and we headed down to my dad's house and the rest of the weekend was fantastic. then sunday we headed back here, and boy's day off with me yesterday was fantastic, too. organizing, shopping, dinner, great sex. ah, i love him so. |
