this boy really wins boyfriend of the year for the nonsense he endured in getting my office done, but it is done, and i am so excited about how amazing it looks. we'd been trying to get this one particular thing done for days, and since today was his one day off, he wanted to get right up, finish that thing, and then have the rest of the day to himself (gaming). what ended up happening was trying again today, becoming wildly frustrated by how badly something so (seemingly) simple was turning out, throwing hands up and yelling that we just needed to get dressed and go back to lowe's, and finally boy having a total stroke of genius that actually improved the aesthetics of the whole project. i can't stop thanking him and telling him how awesome he is for not only doing this (and for so many days!), but being so smart and having such a great idea. i'm so, so happy that i really can't even say it enough. and then, just as if on cue, i checked my email and had a paypal notification for a sale. it's the universe, telling me things. and best friend called earlier to say that she went on a treat tour in the city, and that one place made something particularly good, like the best out of the many places she went, but everything we've done totally wins. so it's time to get our feet in gear on that one. it all seems so perfect, and i know that if i follow this, it will lead me to where i need to be. |
