oh man, poor boy. i woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of him vomiting his face off. at one point, he was literally sprinting to the bathroom. after 3 hours of nonstop violence, i declared it food poisoning and demanded that he start drinking fluids. he tried, and failed for a few hours, but finally started becoming able to retain a little bit of it a couple hours ago. as soon as he could keep down plain water, i gave him an acidophilus pill and told him to take it immediately. i went out to the post office and wawa and came back and he was asleep, again, but was finally able to get up and shower and walk around, but only for a few minutes at a stretch. walking up the stairs exhausted him, and he was still shivering cold. poor boy. so it's much later now and he's down here in the basement with me, smoking and laughing at tv, so he must be feeling better. i'm so relieved. he never gets sick, so the rare times that he does are so scary! goodnight, so much to do tomorrow. |
