thank you guys for the well wishes. i wish i had some more time to discuss all that is happening here. hopefully, later tonight or tomorrow. we vended at punk rock flea market yesterday and i've just been so tired. leading up to it, several long days preparing, even longer day there yesterday, today catching up on sleep and very necessary housecleaning. today also, took the kiddo to lowe's to pick out paint swatches for his room that we're going to redo. if 3 years ago, when i was closing on this house, someone from the future had walked up to me and told me that i would be completely redecorating my guest room for an 8 year old, i would have laughed in their face. i mean i really would have told them to check their sanity. ah how life does it to you. surreal moment of the day: i walked outside to meet the mother of the kid across the street that little A was hanging out with and he yells over to her, "that's [tinea]! she's my stepmom!" ...what? saying that life is full of surprises is the biggest understatement ever. |
