boy ended up getting off way earlier than anticipated last night which was awesome but unexpected, so unfortunately i didn't have any dinner planned. he called and asked, "you decide: five guys or regular chinese?" so i looked up some regular chinese places (i say "regular" because we usually order from chinese slash places, as in chinese/japanese, chinese/thai, etc, which make them much more expensive than "regular" chinese) and found one nearby with a super silly name but great reviews and even better prices. so he got home, i ordered the food, and our goal for the night was to smoke our faces off, eat, and get into bed early to roll around. we did, and it was great. now this morning, i am here waiting for best friend to get here so we can do some stuff, and i am also here strongly considering putting in an application for an adjunct position at the local community colleges. it's like $3,600 per section and you're given 2-3 sections per semester. why not, right? but i remember i hated teaching high school and i'll have the exact same kids, but ... older and paying to be there. now i'm kinda like, eh. later gators. |
