today is okay.

i'm crampy as fuck, it's super hot outside STILL, and i almost said i wasn't coming in today but i did anyway. had a super annoying transaction at chipotle buying everyone lunch on my way in. arrived super grumpy. then i get here and boss is like hey guess what! we spent all morning fixing your desk (ER leaned on it a couple months ago and it buckled like a twig, all of the drawers were falling out, etc), got you a new computer monitor, rearranged your office so you have a lot more space, AND cleaned it for you so it smells nice and fresh. i'm like oh shit yeah! so now i'm over here chillin in my spacious little area, finally have my own printer so i don't have to run across the parking lot to the other office every time i need to print something or prepare sales paperwork, it's so clean and organized. so today turned out not that bad. |
