looooong weekend.
2010-12-12 @ 11:43 p.m.

this weekend felt like the longest on earth.

i finished the turbofire inferno thing that i was talking about last week and lost 5 lbs and a ton of inches. my one big pair of pants is practically falling off, and my other ones actually fit now. i am super incredibly pleased to have such results after such a short time. i'm going to stick to it and hopefully reach my goals, and then i will feel like 50% better tackling the world each day.

we got boy all moved in yesterday. it was the longest day i can remember. as we were coming home from dinner, i said it felt like 3 days had elapsed since that morning.

i woke up at 7:30 and drove up there, and he wasn't even packed fully yet, so i just sat around and kept him company until he was ready to move all of the bags and boxes downstairs. then, once they were downstairs, he wandered around and back up and down trying to figure out how to sort things into "going to my house" and "going into storage" piles. he piled up the couch with stuff going to my house, then realized we needed to pack the couch onto the truck first so we had to move all that again.

this guy who he bought really bad weed from said he'd help, so boy said he'd pay him $20, and once we started moving everything and packing this truck that was ALMOST too small for everything, the guy came with us to the storage unit and helped unload everything into the unit which i thought was going to be too small. since both i and the womnan at the counter doubted him, he brought it and got all that stuff in there with room to spare. it was amazing. and he was a nice guy.

boy ended up giving him $30 and smoked him out twice, so the guy was happy. OH, and someone hit the u-haul van on the street and broke the side mirror off and escaped, so the two of them went to pep boys and jimmy rigged this replacement window since boy didn't get uhaul's $15 protection plan. so luckily the ghetto mirror worked and he didn't have to pay anything extra.

then, we had to move everything from his house into our two cars. so many clothes. that boy has like three times the amount of clothes i do. so they all got packed and we headed the hour down to my house.

once we got here, we unloaded just enough that we could fit in my car, and drove an hour down to crabs. it's this all you can eat crab place that is nothing like a china buffet - these are fresh crabs steamed to order, along with peel and eat shrimp in this delicious old bay juice, the best buffalo wings i've ever had, and rice or potatoes, and salad, and bread with this phenomenal vinegar/cilantro/parsley/scallion dip. we ate all of that and shared a piece of carrot cheesecake, which was hands down the best cake i have ever eaten in my life. it was the most moist carrot cake with raisins and nuts, with a layer of cheesecake in the middle, which was the best cheesecake i've ever had, and then covered in the best cream cheese icing ever. i told boy i wanted this to be my wedding cake.

we came home and took showers and passed out. well, i passed out in bed so quickly that he was actually kind of mad at me because i didn't even say goodnight or anything. i felt really bad, but i thought it was funny because i remember only getting into bed and him telling me that the episode of iron chef that was on was "taking it too far," and i was like, well that's the point, and then i woke up today.

so anyway, exhausting. then we spent all day today running around. i just want relax time. i want sexy time. i've had enough of being frantic.
