boy and i are headed down to the beach this evening for a little mini vacation. it's 50's and 60's weekend. tonight is an amazing sushi dinner, tomorrow is gourmet hot dogs for breakfast, bike ride to the car show, followed by an oldies concert and amazing gelato for dessert. then sunday is a leisurely walk through gorgeous town, amazing southwest restaurant for lunch, and heading home. it should be wonderful! i'm also ridiculously excited about life because i realized i wasn't eating enough on my diet (i can either do really low calories or work out, but not both. i had no energy!!), so i started eating a little bit more and have lost a couple pounds this week. i'm almost back to "onederland," as the weight loss crowd calls it. then the real work will begin. not that it wasn't work before, but i'm really going to focus on building more muscle since that's what my body naturally wants me to do. finally, i'm genuinely excited about this. must go pack! |
