i know i'm super late to the party (as usual) but i finally saw interstellar. man it was so beautiful. i was kinda meh about mcconaughey because he's just so ... mcconaughey in this movie. but i love christopher nolan's films so much, like all of them, that i just let it happen and of course it did not disappoint. the music, the ambiance, the tension. time jumps. suspense. always an experience. sooooooooooooo my AC broke yesterday morning. i can't fucking believe the things that are happening to me right now. my life is so fucking shitty, for real. the guy is my boss's guy, who was instructed to charge me "family prices," but because of what broke it will STILL be $250. like jesus christ already. and oh also he came today and was like yeah if i have this incredibly rare part in my truck i can do it right now. so he goes into the truck, happens to have the part! puts it on, air comes on for like 5 minutes but it's making this weird sound again. turns out the part is just ever so slightly warped or bent or something so it was unbalanced and causing the unit to shake wildly which is obviously something you don't want. so he's like yeah as you know everything is closed on sunday so see you on monday? i'm so sorry. and i'm literally dripping sweat like "ok cool thanks!" because what the fuck am i going to do. so this weekend has just been a blast in my 85 degree house. and it's new jersey so it's humid as fuck. make no mistake about that. so whatever, going to bed early i guess. |
