wtf, you're always ruining my life!
2013-01-25 @ 9:10 p.m.

hey so cool, the beautiful snow fell, and it took boy 3 HOURS to get home from work.

not the worst part. he's about 3 minutes away, and i'm up in my office looking out the window. little A's mother was supposed to be here like 45 minutes ago, i say, but oh wait. i think she just got here.

but she sits in her car, doesn't get out, doesn't call. hm?

oh, it turns out she can't fucking drive, skidded into a curb, and popped her tire and bent her rim. boy goes out there to put on her donut. it is flat. she demands that he tries his donut despite being repeatedly told that it is the WRONG size. finally boy is like OKAY! takes off her flat donut, tries to put his on (which didn't fit, what a surprise!), and stays outside shoveling the driveway while waiting for her tow truck.

an hour passes. no tow truck, no call. she calls and calls. they never answer or call her back.

boy is made of rage at this point. remember, he's been up since 4am. he asks if i can look up another tow company to get this asshole out of here, so i do (after we call several first who tell us that it's either too far or they're not coming out in this weather [then what good are you??]), and when boy calls this one place nearby the guy says that it's $5 a mile (due to the weather, and the fact that she lives 45 miles away), but he won't be here for at least an hour, maybe more, because he's out having dinner with his wife.

boy calls crazytown and she's like, well that's really expensive. can you call around? boy was like, do you realize that the only thing i want to do in this world right now is take a shower and eat dinner (his only meal of the day)? is this really the appropriate time to fucking comparison shop!??

so boy says your options are this: wait 1-2 hours in your car (you're not coming into my home) for this tow truck or go to your cousin's house nearby and spend the night, then wake up and figure out the tire and stuff in the morning. the car is fine to sit here. she takes FOREVER to decide what to do, then finally decides to go stay at her cousin's. boy is getting dressed to go, and i'm like ... you're driving her there? and he says yeah. i asked why the cousin couldn't come pick her up? and boy says that she asked, and they said no. they live 15 minutes away!! he said that she also called her parents and they first wouldn't answer the phone for her, then when they finally did and she explained the situation they just said, oh. i don't know what to tell you. so who else is left but boy?

i said, you know, you really need to tell this asshole that she needs to be a lot more appreciative of you, because her OWN FAMILY is telling her to go fuck off. and here you are, exhausted, and it's now 9pm and you're going out again to do a favor for her.

so in conclusion, boy is an amazing guy and i can't believe the things he does for people. our romantic snuggle night will be postponed til tomorrow i guess, but i'm thankful that he's off from both jobs so we can finally hang out!
