dudes, i don't even watch american idol, it's my gay boyfriend. i put the kibosh on that this year because he made me watch a whole season of it last year and it's the most awful show on earth. so he has this shit on in bed (he went up to bed at 7:45pm btw) tonight because it was the last episode and he wanted to see who won, and i hear this bunch of songs that the eliminated guys are singing, and i'm like, why this melange? and then i'm like, oh, they're all frankie valli songs? and then frankie valli actually came out and fucking killed it! why does this guy sound amazing still!? he's so old! so if you're an oldies fan (it's probably only me and boy, we're both 65.) you'd better catch this guy next time he's on tour because it probably won't be for much longer. sorry i'm so excited about this. psy was awesome too, but i'm a sucker for k/jpop. anyway, that's all. goodnight. .... is it funny or sad that i come on here, a head jumbled full of thoughts, profound feelings, fears, frustrations, and i stare at a blank square, unable to move, but an 80 year old singer manages to stir me to action? i'm really pretty frustrated with myself. also, it's unbearably hot in the house. i hate trying to sleep when it's like this. we don't want to turn on the air already in may! ugh. |
