hi. i love you! merry christmas, if you do that. if you don't, i hope you at least have a nice day off of work tomorrow. best friend and cousin were over the past few days doing our yearly baking thing, and i have just taken a seat after wrapping the last few of boy's things and finishing up something for brother's gf. i wanted to get her this PERFECT thing. i had the idea early in december. i texted my brother about it to ask if she'd like it (and more importantly, if she already had one) and he said absolutely yes. so maybe three days later? definitely no more, i tell boy, who's putting together an amazon order. he puts it in his basket and keeps shopping a little bit more. goes to check out, and it's no longer in stock! wtf. we keep checking back every few days, and this thing is still sold out. so finally it came to crunch time and i had to figure something out. we were even willing to pay the 2 day shipping for this thing had it come back in stock, because she would have liked it that much. nope! so boo. handmade it is. you know i would normally prefer handmade, but not when i'm this busy. the project i was working on for boy took far longer than i anticipated, but came out absolutely amazing! so right now i'm just really crafted out. my office is an absolute wreck. i guess my other new year's resolution is to clean up my shit. anyway. i'm about to finish gf's present, then get my buns in bed. i haven't been to bed before 2am the past 3-4 days. i can't live like this. goodnight! ♥ ♥ |
