i just wanted to update to say that today boss's dad was asking me what boss was eating for lunch since everyone got chk fila but him. i told him he was eating the soup i made (which he had apparently sent DR to his house to pick up while he was getting everyone else's food). boss's dad said that last night boss told his mom that it was the best soup he's had in a long time. i find that to be an extremely high compliment coming from a guy who 1) holds his mom's cooking as the best, hands down, and 2) who, i cannot stress this enough, is the most picky, annoying eater. every day trying to figure out lunch for this guy is a struggle unless his mom sends food to work with him. so i was really happy that all of the effort and time that i put into making that soup something special was actually appreciated, and that he told his mom about it. little things like that mean so much to me. |
