last night i went over to the new location to pay the electrician, and we were making small talk and he asked how everything was going. i said great (lol), and something about boss. he laughed and said, "you know, he loves the ground you walk on. really." it was a sweet thing for him to say, this guy i've only met two other times. but it was something i really needed to hear this week. i know there are people there for me. so many people who have been there for me so many more times than boy was. he still hasn't even called me or texted me or absolutely anything. no i'm sorry, are you ok, nothing. ER asked me if he had yesterday and just shook his head and said, "you're so sweet, and i would always hear you guys on the phone and you sounded like you got along so well, like you really loved him. what a cold ass motherfucker." yup. |
